On Saturday, June 8, we had a successful event out at the range. About two dozen members and non-members joined us for hot dogs, sunshine, and shooting. Several individuals joined the club, too!
Each individual purchased as many targets as they wished, and submitted their best points for the competition of the title “Bethel’s Top Shot.” Rifle shooting was on the 100 yard range and pistol shooting was on the 15 yard range. Youth were able to compete shooting .22 on the 25 yard range.
THE 2019 WINNERS
Rifle:
- Bailey McCallson – winner of a Taurus 9mm
- Luke Eli Wenger – winner of a Rossi .17 HMR
- Seth Tetoff
Pistol:
- Seth Tetoff – winner of a Rossi .22 Mag
- Miranda Johansson
Youth:
- Hank Karr – winner of a Rossi .22 LR
Luke Eli Wenger and Seth Tetoff tied for 2nd place in the rifle shooting. After an extensive tie-breaker, including shooting 3 inch diameter clay pigeons using a gun not sighted in, Luke Eli Wenger claimed the 2nd prize.
The three top shooters of the rifle competition were shooting with the same rifle.
Seth Tetoff and Miranda Johansson tied for 1st place in the pistol shooting. Seth Tetoff claimed 1st prize in the tie-breaker.
