On Saturday, November 20, 2021 the club hosted a shooting competition for Thanksgiving. 20 individuals braved the 20 mph wind gusts and -23°F wind chill to join us for the chance of winning a turkey.
Competition Winners
12 Years & Younger Group
Vernon Paul Kinegak, Torin Bernard, and Nivea Kinegak. These were the only three participants we had in this age group this year. They each did a great job in participating!
13 – 17 Years Group
George Lee Jr. This was the only participant for the 13-17 years age group participated in the .22lr shoot.
Adults Trap Shooting
The trap competition was to shoot 8 shells at 8 flying clay pigeons, alternating left and right side.

The pistol shooting competition was to shoot 6 rounds at 6 clay pigeons sitting on a target stand.

Adults Trap & Pistol Shooting Combined Winner
Tim Crace had the best scoring in both trap and pistol shooting and was the grand prize winner of a prime rib roast.
Each of our winners received turkeys! Congratulations all and thank you for participating in the turkey shoot this year!
