About the Club

The Bethel Sportsman’s Club is affiliated with the National Rifle Association and the National Shooting Sports Foundation. Memberships are open to all without regard to race, color, age, or sex.

The Gun Range is located at 3600 Tower Road in Bethel, AK. Our range features a 200 yd range, 100 yd range, and a 25 yd range for pistols and rifle shooting of all calibers.

Driving towards Kasayulie, turn right before Evert’s Cargo and the cemetery. You will head down a small dirt road and meet a sign at the range.

The purpose and objective of this organization is to maintain ranges and facilities where members and their guests may meet for the enjoyment of shooting sports both indoor and outdoor. This includes to also develop and sponsor special or general programs with the use of qualified and competent instructors designed to teach firearms safety, marksmanship, and sportsmanship to novice or inexperienced hunters and other persons who are not familiar with firearms.

Our purpose and objective also includes to foster, sponsor, or resist legislation or regulations affecting hunting, fishing, conservation, or recreation in the State of Alaska and legislation that may affect the ownership of firearms.

Any citizen of the United State 18 years of age or older may become a member of the Bethel Sportsman’s Club on the vote of the Board of Directors after subscribing to the National Rifle Association Pledge and payment of the required one year’s dues in advance.
