Our current projects are:
Dirtwork of range
The club is currently working with Joe Dale for the excavation and moving of dirt at the range. This is for building up berms, leveling ranges, and eventually preparing a shotgun range.
How you can help:
We would appreciate if you could help us by telling individuals who are climbing on or even driving ATV’s on the berms. This breaks them down and sets us back in the process of this project.
Fencing
The club is coordinating the last of the fencing of the range. Work days are scheduled ahead of time for a team effort of pounding posts and hanging fencing. If you are interested in helping with this, please check our calendar of events.
Shooting Structures
After the ranges have been leveled, we will begin the construction of shooting structures for the benches. This will include one back wall and a roof to ensure members can stay dry and somewhat sheltered from the weather while shooting at the range.
How you can help:
Work days for the construction of these shelters will be scheduled after the ranges have been leveled. Please check our calendar of events for information on these work days!
Target Stands
The club is constantly working on building and providing functional and legal target stands for members visiting the range. As these often times get worn out from many bullets, they are in a constant rotation.
How you can help:
You can help us by building target stands with material that exists at the range, or you can bring material that you are willing to donate for target stands. Check our calendar of events for updates on work days.
